When a shingle blows off in a storm or a slow leak finally shows up on your ceiling, you need a crew that answers the phone and shows up — not a call center that puts you on hold. Big Toms Roofing sends licensed, local Preston roofers to your door, usually the same day you call.
We built Big Toms Roofing to fix a problem every homeowner in Preston has run into: contractors who don't return calls, no-show for appointments, or pad the invoice once the tarp's already on the roof. Our Flat Roof Repair crews are local, licensed, and accountable — every estimate is in writing before a single shingle gets pulled.
From a single missing shingle to a full tear-off, our Preston crews handle every stage of roofing work with the same attention to detail — licensed, permitted, and cleaned up when we leave.
A leak that starts as a small stain can rot decking and framing within weeks. Our emergency response teams treat every active-leak call in Preston as urgent — temporary stabilization first, permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
Whether your roof is past its expected lifespan or storm damage made repair impractical, our replacement crews handle permitting, disposal, and installation start to finish, with a written timeline you can plan around.
We work directly with property management companies and HOAs across Preston to keep flat and low-slope roofs maintained on a predictable schedule, instead of waiting for emergency calls that disrupt business.
Buying or selling a home in Preston? A pre-purchase roof inspection gives you real leverage in negotiations and peace of mind about what you're actually buying — no guessing about remaining roof life.
Poor attic ventilation cooks shingles from underneath and can void manufacturer warranties. Our Preston crews balance intake and exhaust ventilation to extend the life of your Flat Roof Repair system and lower attic temperatures in summer.
Every one of these commitments exists because a Preston homeowner asked for it, complained about a competitor's lack of it, or we learned it the hard way.
You'll know the exact scope and cost in writing before work starts, and that number doesn't move unless you approve a change.
Because our trucks stay staged around Preston, we're rarely more than an hour from your address for emergency calls.
Certification isn't a marketing badge here — it's required training that affects how your warranty is honored.
If something about the finished work doesn't sit right with you, call us back and we'll make it right — that's the deal.
We document damage the way adjusters expect to see it, which shortens the back-and-forth on storm claims.
Magnetic nail sweeps and tarp-protected landscaping are standard on every job, not an upsell.
We don't cherry-pick these — they're representative of the calls, texts, and reviews we get after most Flat Roof Repair jobs in Preston.
"We had a leak show up during a storm at night and I honestly didn't expect anyone to answer the phone. Big Toms Roofing had a crew tarping our roof within a couple hours and came back two days later to do the real repair. Can't recommend them enough."
"The estimate they gave us matched the final invoice exactly, which after two other quotes from companies that kept adding line items, was a relief. Crew was professional and cleaned up better than I expected."
"After the hail storm last year, Big Toms Roofing documented everything for our claim and dealt directly with our adjuster. We barely had to do anything except sign off on the estimate."
"As a property manager I've worked with a lot of roofing companies and Big Toms Roofing is one of the few that actually communicates before showing up and after the job's done."
"Their inspection before we bought our house flagged ventilation and flashing problems that weren't obvious on a walkthrough. Glad we called them before closing, not after."
